Talks About Our Work

Cleethorpes Wildlife Rescue offers informative and engaging talks to groups, organisations, and schools about our work rehabilitating British wildlife. We can also provide bespoke talks tailored to your group’s interests or learning objectives, upon request.

We regularly deliver talks to a wide range of audiences and are happy to host sessions at our rescue centre (in our education room) or travel locally to your venue.

Types of Talks

Our talks are divided into two categories, but we are happy to adapt or tailor content to suit your audience:

School & Children’s Group Talks

These interactive sessions provide a basic but informative introduction to wildlife rescue. Talks include:

  • An overview of what wildlife rescue involves

  • Practical, age-appropriate activities

  • Clear advice on what to do if an injured animal is found

Content can be tailored to suit different age groups, curriculum topics, or specific areas of interest.

Adults & Community Group Talks

Designed for a more mature audience, these talks explore our work in greater depth. Using our own projector, we will:

  • Share real-life rescue stories

  • Discuss wildlife crime and its impact

  • Highlight the importance of ethical wildlife rehabilitation

  • Explain how individuals and communities can support our work

Talks can be customised to focus on particular species, conservation issues, or themes relevant to your group.

Important Information

  • We do not offer talks or visits involving live animals

  • Due to limited availability, we require a minimum audience of:

    • 15 attendees for School & Children’s Group Talks

    • 20 attendees for Adults & Community Group Talks

  • We aim to deliver 8–10 talks during 2026, so early enquiries are recommended
