But while our “quack linguistics” course may be a bit of fun, what is very real is the incredible care, time, and dedication our volunteers give every single day to wildlife casualties across the area. From early mornings to late nights, their commitment ensures injured and vulnerable animals get the help they need.

So although we can’t promise fluent duck conversations anytime soon, we can promise that behind the jokes is a team doing truly serious, compassionate work for wildlife. And that’s no joke at all.
